The Absentee Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma is developing a new Class II casino on 33 acres of trust land.

The tribe is trying to work with the city of Tecumseh but there is some resistance from officials. Neighbors of the casino site have complained about the project.

The city could end up charging the tribe for city services.
