THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 14, 2002 Senator Tim Johnson's (D-South Dakota) narrow victory over Republican John Thune was complete on Wednesday. Thune conceded defeat rather than call for a recount as he is allowed to under state law. Johnson beat Thune by 524 votes. Get the Story:
