The Blackfeet Nation of Montana might still remove its chairman and vice-chairman, The Great Falls Tribune reported.

An attorney for the tribal council told the paper that the dispute arose when chairman William "Allen" Talks About Jr. suggested he could fire the council treasurer. Talks About has alleged financial mismanagement.

The council has pending a motion to remove Talks About and vice chairman James "Jimmy" St. Goddard from their posts but not from their membership on the council, the attorney said.
