The Blackfeet Nation of Montana had a 10-hour council meeting on Thursday to address leadership disputes, The Great Falls Tribune reported.

The paper said more than 100 tribal members attended the meeting. Many were backing chairman William "Allen" Talks About Jr. and Vice Chairman James "Jimmy" St. Goddard, who were the target of an ouster by the council.

The sides agreed to work out their disputes.
