Navajo election results confirmed

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2002

The Farmington Daily-Times publishes final results of the Navajo Nation's November 5 general election.

Voters unseated President Kelsey Begaye and replaced him with Joe Shirley Jr. Shirley won by more than 7,000 votes.

Navajo chapter houses also elected council delegates.
