The National Museum of the American Indians held its first ever pow-wow on the Mall in Washington, D.C., last month. Insight Magazine recaps the event in its October 29 issue.

According to the magazine, the turnout for the pow-wow was two to three times what organizers expected. The two-day event featured three grand entries, two host drums and lots of dancing.
