The Bush administration only have two more weeks to appeal the Kennewick Man decision, The Tri-City Herald of Washington reports.

A federal magistrate in August said the bones of the 9,000-year-old man should be studied by scientists. Pacific Northwest tribes who want the remains reburied are seeking to appeal the decision independent of the federal government.
