Wyo. tribal leadership in for changes

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2002 Tribes on the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming are experiencing a leadership shakeup. The Eastern Shoshone Tribe held a general election for its tribal council on Tuesday but results were not available, according to the Associated Press. However, three out of six seats will go to newcomers. The Northern Arapaho Tribe will see at least two out of six new members. The general election is November 21. Get the Story:
