THURSDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2002 Workers in Kansas hope to have a two-ton statue of an Indian atop the statehouse today. The 22-foot tall "Ad Astra" statue was initially raised on Monday but there were some problems securing it. The statue represents a Kanza, or Kaw, Indian man. Get the Story:
