Opponents of Columbus Day shouldn't use their upcoming protest to "cross the line between legitimate protest and breaking the law," The Denver Post says in an editorial today.

The paper refers to competing events this Saturday in Denver, Colorado. The Transform Columbus Day Alliance is holding a 10 a.m. march to support justice and equality for indigenous people.

Italian-Americans are holding their own march at 2 p.m. The paper says the opponents should remain peaceful.
