Column: Campbell got most at fundraiser

MONDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2002 Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell (R-Colorado) took in $20,500 at a fundraiser arranged by the Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut, Bill McAllister of The Denver Post reports. The fundraiser was held February 1 at the tribe's casino. Contractors who worked on the new $1 billion expansion of the facility were invited to donate. Others receiving money included: Senator Daniel Inouye (D-Hawaii) with $10,000; and Senator Tim Johnson (D-S.D.) at $16,500. Get the Story:
