Group claims exclusion from Pequot tribe

The Wiquapaug Eastern Pequot Tribe of Connecticut has filed an appeal to the recent federal recognition of the historic Eastern Pequot Tribe.

The Wiquapaugs claim they were wrongfully excluded from the decision. They want an answer on their own petition or inclusion with the Eastern Pequot case.
