Navajo police investigate fatal crash

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2002 A 19-year-old New Mexico man died in a one-car accident on the Navajo Reservation on Tuesday. Aaron Jon Benally was driving a truck carrying a a 200-gallon water tank when he crashed into a ravine. Passenger Jeff Bekis, 19, is in serious but stable condition at a local hospital. The accident occurred at the Navajo Agricultural Products Industries (NAPI) farm. NAPI is a tribally-owned enterprise. Get the Story:
