WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2002 The House on Tuesday passed a bill to ban Americans from using Internet sites to gamble. The bill gives law enforcement agencies and regulators the power to go after banks and online casino sites. It requires banks to prevent Americans from using credit cards to gamble. It also requires Internet service providers to block access to online casinos. The sites face prison time for accepting bets from Americans. Get the Story:
