Apache tribe plans forest burns

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 2002 The White Mountain Apache Tribe plans proscribed and pile burns on its Arizona reservation. More than half of the reservation was burned by the recent Rodeo-Chediski Fire. Forest management policies, including planned burns, can help reduce the spread of fires. Get the Story:
