Judge rejects tribal casino challenge

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2002 A New York state judge on Tuesday dismissed a challenge to the Seneca Nation's casino compact. The judge transferred title of the casino site to the tribe. The Bureau of Indian Affairs has to take the land into trust. The tribe plans to start work today to build the casino in Niagara Falls. Get the Story:
