Wash. tribe wants input on compost

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2002 The Nooksack Tribe of Washington is asking for comments about a disputed compost dump that neighbors complain is smelly. The tribe ordered the compost to shut down but the operators appealed. The comments will be used as part of the appeal process. The operation is located on land allotted to individual tribal members.
