WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 2002

The Helena Independent Record of Montana asked the state's tribal and Indian leaders for their thoughts on the anniversary of the September 11 attacks.

Responses include the ceremonies that tribes were holding to remember the event. The Blackfeet Nation, for example, scheduled a flag and honor ceremony for firefighters and the people who could not be found.
