Members of the Lummi Nation of Washington brought their healing pole to Connecticut as part of a cross-country journey to mark the September 11 terrorist attacks.

The 13-foot cedar pole was carved to remember the children who died that day. It was blessed by by members of the Mohegan Tribe on Tuesday and it went to the Mashantucket Pequot Reservation yesterday.

The pole's final destination is New York state, where it will be erected at a park north of New York City.
