"Arrogant Republican legislators who never pass up a chance to bedevil the state's five Indian tribes have lost another court battle.

This time, the Idaho Supreme Court unanimously rejected an attempt by an anti-gambling coalition, led by state Sen. Laird Noh, R-Kimberly, to block the Indian gaming initiative from being on the November ballot. In writing the opinion, Justice Wayne Kidwell went so far as to suggest that the court throw out a 1997 law that allows citizens to challenge proposed initiatives before they become law.

Too bad the court can't outlaw hypocrisy, too. . ."
