The members of the board that is putting on the 79th Shiprock Northern Navajo Fair will keep their jobs for now.

The Shiprock Fair Board was the target of a resolution calling for its resignation. The resolution was suspended on Sunday.

The Shiprock Chapter issued the resolution because it was concerned about financial accountability. According to Chapter President Duane "Chili" Yazzie, the fair board is out of money.

The fair will take place October 4-7.
