MONDAY, AUGUST 19, 2002 The 81st annual Indian Market ended in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on Sunday. The event was expected to draw at least 70,000 to the city to see the works of more than 1,000 artists. But at least one artist, Cliff Fragua, a sculptor from Jemez Pueblo, said the crowds were down from last year. A classic 1974 Triumph TR6 featuring the work of Hopi / Pueblo artist Dan Namingha and several others was sold for $90,000 at a silent auction. Get the Story:
