Navajo Nation seeks money for animal control

The Navajo Nation is proposing to spend $450,151 in the coming year to control animals on the three-state reservation.

The Animal Control Program has just five officers. Although dog catching and control makes up a large part of the duties, the officers respond to other animal problems.
