Women in leadership roles at Oneida Nation

MONDAY, AUGUST 12, 2002 All four members of the Oneida Nation's business committee are women, believed to be a first for the Wisconsin tribe. Among the new set of officials is Cristina Danforth. She was elected president on July 13. Four of the five members on the tribal council are men. Get the Story:
