Alaska police say shooter left note

MONDAY, AUGUST 12, 2002 Police in Alaska have discovered a note left by the woman they say fatally shot Alaska Native executive Glenn Godfrey on August 3. Police would not elaborate on the contents of the note but said it was probably meant for Godfrey. The note was found in the car of Karen Brand, who turned the gun on herself after killing Glenn and injuring his wife, Patti. Get the Story:
