Kiowa tribal member indicted for fraud

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 7, 2002 A member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma was indicted Tuesday for allegedly taking $12,000 in money in tribal-related schemes. Phillip Charles Bread was the tribal assistance director for Oklahoma's Commerce Department. He is accused of fraud and bribery for accepting money from companies who wanted to do business with tribes at the same time of his state employment. Get the Story:
