FRIDAY, AUGUST 2, 2002 The chief executive of Cook Inlet Region Inc., an Alaska Native regional corporation, was given a contract extension on Thursday despite some opposition. Ten out of 15 CIRI directors voted to retain Carl Marrs. Former chief executive Roy Huhndorf and three others sought to oust Marrs. Get the Story:
