TUESDAY, JULY 30, 2002 Casino industry experts believe California's tribes could bring in $4 billion a year, The Los Angeles Times reports. I. Nelson Rose, a professor at Whittier Law School and a gambling scholar, believes tribal casinos will surpass the Las Vegas strip in Nevada this year.
