Eastern Pequot Tribe holds council election

MONDAY, JULY 29, 2002 The Eastern Pequot Tribe of Connecticut held elections for council members on Saturday. The nine-member board will see one new face in Lewis E. Randall. Four incumbents were re-elected for a two-year term. The tribe is joining with the Paucatuck Eastern Pequot Tribe. Assistant Secretary Neal McCaleb recognized the two as one historic tribe.
