Navajo blessings kick off rodeo

TUESDAY, JULY 23, 2002 The National High School Finals Rodeo is being held in Farmington, New Mexico, this week. The event includes a focus on Indian cowboys and Indian culture. Two Navajo blessings were provided for yesterday's opening ceremony.
The Farmington Daily-Times reports some technical glitches but no major problems otherwise.
