"As this fast moving train called summer races headlong toward fall, I am hanging onto the caboose with my fingernails. Things are flying past like telephone posts on a downhill mountain pass.

That's how I feel when I find there are so many places to go and so many places to be. I did brake a little Sunday to see the Oak Hammock Marsh Interpretative Centre in Manitoba, Canada.

What I brought back from that visit was a question for Grand Forks: Why not capture some of the wonders of the Red River Valley for something like what Ducks Unlimited Canada and Manitoba Conservation have created in Canada?"
