Daryl White has been removed as the Department of Interior's chief information officer, Federal Computer Week reports.

White's reassignment as special assistant for technology at the Bureau of Reclamation was effective yesterday, Megan Lisagor reports. Hord Tipton, former CIO at the Bureau of Land Management, has taken White's former post.

White testified on behalf of the Indian trust beneficiaries in the Bush administration's contempt trial.
