The Idaho State Board of Education on Thursday denied accreditation to the Coeur d'Alene Tribal School.

The school lost its status last fall due to several problems, including safety, lack of a written mission statement and lack of proof of certified teachers. The tribe has made changes that were commended by the state but didn't garner accreditation.
