'Dead Indian' name changed in Okla.

THURSDAY, JUNE 27, 2002 Dead Indian Creek in Oklahoma will be getting a name change in response to complaints it was offensive to Native Americans. The new name will be Winter Camp Creek. The U.S. Board on Geographic Names will have to finalize the change. Get the Story:
