First Native woman doctor gets honor

The first Indian woman to become a doctor will be inducted into the American Medical Women's Association Hall of Fame.

Susan LaFlesche Picotte was a member of the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska. She was an activist in tribal issues and became a health leader.

She died in 1915.
