MONDAY, JUNE 10, 2002 Republican activists are wrapping up work on a research project that identifies the political proclivities of lobbyists. Known as the K Street Project, the effort grew out of complaints that trade associations, lobbying firms and corporations aren't hiring enough Republicans. The list, which details political contributions and party affiliation, could prevent those with Democrat ties from getting access to the White House and members of Congress. Get the Story:
