FRIDAY, JUNE 7, 2002 The AARP, formerly known as the American Association of Retired Persons, is reaching out to Native American elders in Arizona in a first of its kind program. More than 100 members of the state chapter are participating. A group of 28 started some small home repair and other projects on the Navajo Reservation recently. Another group will go the Fort Apache Reservation in August and a larger crew will return to Navajo next spring. Get the Story:
