A recent study from the University of California at Los Angeles concludes that Native Americans are "invisible" when it comes to portrayals on the television screen.

The study focused on minority representation. According to the UCLA Center for African American Studies, most African-Americans are relegated to sitcoms.

The study found 39 percent of all black characters in sitcoms compared to 31 percent for whites, 23 percent for Hispanics and 21 percent for Asians.
