Hopi student comes from family of service

FRIDAY, MAY 31, 2002 Michael Tenakhongva, a member of the Hopi Tribe of Arizona, graduated from the Air Force Academy this week with a second lieutenant's commission. Tenakhongva comes from a family with a history of military service. His grandfathers served in World War II, one as a Hopi Code Talker. Two uncles served in Vietnam and his father served in Grenada and Panama. Get the Story:
