N.D. tribal casino boat eyed

THURSDAY, MAY 30, 2002 The Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation of North Dakota wants to start up a casino boat on Lake Sakakawea. The tribe's compact doesn't explicitly allow one, unlike the Spirit Lake Sioux. The state is determining whether a boat is permitted, and whether the deal might need to be modified. Get the Story:
