The Arizona State University has dropped a policy which discouraged non-Indian enrollment in an class on Navajo history.

The school will drop the phrase "limited to Native American students" from its 2002 coursebook. The class, "History 191: Navajo History," has seen at least one non-Indian student so far.

The ASU History Department web page now states: "Designed for Native American students, but available to all first-year students."
