The Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Review Committee, an advisory board created by federal law, is meeting in Oklahoma this week.

The agenda items include a draft proposed regulation for handling "culturally unidentifiable human remains." Recent high-profile cases have centered around bones that government officials say cannot be linked to any tribe or tribes.

Also on the agenda is a dispute between the five Apache tribes and the Denver Art Museum. The committee can make recommendations.

The meeting is being held at the University of Tulsa starting May 31. It will last three days and is open to the public.
