A bill to approve Indian gaming in Arizona moved ahead on Thursday after some amendments.

The approval came as Gov. Jane Hull was calling off the special legislative session. She was tired of seeing lawmakers quibble over the provisions of compacts she signed with the state's tribes.

The full House might call a vote next week.
