Health program aimed at Mayan community

MONDAY, MAY 13, 2002 A new health care program is reaching out to the Mayan community of south Florida.
Through a $150,000 grant, Planned Parenthood is training 25 Mayan representatives to talk about various health issues. The program will be modeled after similar efforts in Guatemala, Mexico and other Latin American countries.
