FRIDAY, MAY 10, 2002

The Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohicans currently live in Wisconsin but the tribe's roots are in New York.

To help educate others, the tribe has created a video presentation detailing some of its New York history. The tribe is talking with the state and the federal government to settle an outstanding land claim.

The tribe is also seeking a casino in the Catskills region of the state.
