Pueblo standing in for Navajo rez in Hillerman film
THURSDAY, MAY 15, 2003 PBS is shooting the next installment of Tony Hillerman's Navajo cop series in New Mexico. "A Thief in Time" again features actors Adam Beach, a Canadian Aboriginal, and Wes Studi, a member of the Cherokee Nation, as Navajo police officers. Albuquerque is standing in for Santa Fe and Jemez Pueblo is standing in for the Navajo Reservation. Filming will also take place in the Navajo community of To'hajiilee community. The film is a follow-up to last year's "Skinwalkers," which was PBS' highest rated program of the year with 12 million viewers. Get the Story:
