McCaleb won't undergo more questioning

Attorneys for 500,000 Indian beneficiaries on Monday said they no longer needed to question outgoing Assistant Secretary Neal McCaleb on his destruction of e-mail.

Attorney Dennis Gingold was set to depose McCaleb on Wednesday. In a letter, he informed special master Alan Balaran, a court investigator, that he would not go forward.

McCaleb testified before Balaran on December 6. He admitted he erased his e-mails but said he didn't intentionally set out to "destroy" them.
