Another Interior recusal on drilling
THURSDAY, JUNE 13, 2002

Rebecca Watson of the Department of Interior has recused herself from coalbed methane drilling issues in the Powder River Basin of Wyoming and Montana.

Watson, assistant secretary of land and minerals management, formerly represented clients with interests in the basin. She joins Deputy Secretary J. Steven Griles in backing away from the issue.
