B.C. First Nation voting on treaty agreement

Members of the Tsawwassen First Nation of British Columbia voted Wednesday on a treaty agreement-in-principle. The band has been negotiating with the B.C. government 1993. The agreement-in-principle would increase the size of the reserve and increase provincial and federal funding. The First Nation is located near Vancouver. The deal would be the first urban treaty in the province. Get the Story:
