Colo. tribe doesn't know what's in energy bill
Thursday, November 20, 2003

There were so many change to the energy bill under final debate that it's hard to know what's in it, a representative of the Southern Ute Tribe of Colorado said.

"At this point, I don't know whether it's good or bad for us." Bob Zahradnik of the tribe's Growth Fund told The Durango Herald.

The tribe is a major player in Indian energy development. A representative of the Growth Fund testified at the hearing on the Indian energy earlier this year.
